This new one doesn’t even have a title yet, but director Amit Ravindernath Sharma is at the helm. Cocktail 2 itself is ready to go, with Kriti Sanon joining the cast and a September 2026 release set. It’s being called a “vibe sequel” to the 2012 original, same spirit, new faces, and a fresh take on modern relationships, love, and friendship.

This second film also hints at something bigger, a growing trust between Shahid and producer Sunir Kheterpal, and Sharma’s clear passion for exploring what modern love actually looks like, with plenty of laughs and a few surprises along the way. No official title yet, and filming is still a few months out, but the secrecy just makes people want it more.
