Thamma keeps the supernatural rom-com vibe alive with another tough female lead, but you can feel the formula creaking. Early leaks about Shakti Shalini have her literally dragging men into trees and water as punishment, a vengeful spirit with all the trappings we’ve seen before. Power to the women, sure, but at this rate, even powerful themes can feel tired if you keep hitting the same note.

Where’s the Scare? Where’s the Newness?

The MHCU always gets laughs out of small-town quirks, catchy tunes, and a web of Easter eggs that keep fans hunting for connections. But the scares? Not so much. The jokes and lectures keep multiplying, while horror often takes a back seat. Maybe even try a supernatural force that’s just… supernatural. Give us horror that’s unpredictable, not another round of “gyan.”

The MHCU already showed Indian horror-comedy can set box office records. But if it keeps coasting on old tricks, it’ll burn out fast. Fans want Madhock to stay sharp, keep the folklore, the jokes, the chills, but find some new angles. Because this genre still has a lot of life left, as long as it doesn’t get stuck haunting its own formula.
